Moments that mapped the way

I’m Rob — an outdoor photographer and mental health advocate.

My path into photography began during a period of personal uncertainty, a time when I turned to the outdoors for clarity and direction. What started as a coping mechanism evolved into a deeper calling: to document the quiet strength and restorative power of the natural world.

Over the years, I’ve traveled from urban life in San Francisco to remote stretches of Alaska, drawn to landscapes that reflect something internal: solitude, resilience, stillness. Photography became a way to slow down, pay attention, and capture the moments that often go unnoticed.

Today, I call California and Alaska home. My work focuses on expansive, natural environments and the emotional resonance they hold. Through each image, I aim to offer more than a view. I want to create space for reflection, calm, and connection.
